It’s very much antique condition. Several of the quilt pieces used are worn to the point batting pokes through in places (see pictures). If you’re not into this amount of distressing this is not the piece for you. Just to double check I hand washed this piece after putting it together and no additional batting came out so I feel confident it’ll hold up. She just needs an owner who’ll take it easy on her and treat her gently in her old age.

Size M/L but also looks good oversized if you want to size up.

Patchwork of some very old quilts in complementary colors. Each of these quilts are perfectly worn in. Features a collar which can be worn up or folded down, zippered pockets and metal snaps.

Condition

These quilt are very old and should be treated with care. There are places with discoloration or staining as well as places worn thin where you can start to see some batting poking through, I left these as an ode to the character of these quilts. I patched the places I was worried about being too worn. If youre not into character this isnt the piece for you.

Care

Wash sparingly, and spot clean when possible. Soak in cold water with mild detergent for a couple hours and rinse. Roll in a towel to remove excess water and hang to dry.
