Vintage early 1900s log cabin quilt reworked into a boxy vest. I used a vintage napkin and some deadstock twill as the contrasts on this piece. With sweet little hand pockets and ties at the front.

Condition

This quilt is roughly 100 years old and should be treated with care. I patched some of the more concerning places, but there are some scrappy worn through bits of fabric here and there this should be considered part of the character of this piece. Some discoloring/staining in the lining (see pics).

Care

Wash sparingly, and spot clean when possible. Soak in cold water with mild detergent for a couple hours and rinse. Roll in a towel to remove excess water and hang to dry.
