Vintage quilt made with feedsack fabrics reworked into a quilt coat. With corduroy contrasts large handwarmer pockets, and metal snaps.

Condition

This quilt is around 90 years old and is showing its age in areas. It’s worn so soft but also worn through in a handful of blocks, where the batting is showing. I patched a couple places but left others as a nod to the life this quilt has lived. Should be noted by buyer that this distressed condition is a part of the character of the quilt.

There is a small stain on the collar (see last picture) I’m pretty mad at myself I didn’t notice it sooner. Not visible with collar folded down/snapped but I did discount this jacket because of it.

Care

Wash sparingly, and spot clean when possible. Soak in cold water with mild detergent for a couple hours and rinse. Roll in a towel to remove excess water and hang to dry.
