I think this is some variation of a double monkey wrench quilt. Made with a collection of really sweet floral fabrics from the 30s. Lovely puffy weight, made with a cotton batting so it’s nice and warm. Fits up to a 2XL or can be worn oversized.

Condition

These quilt is around 90 years old, the fabric is worn soft and thin in places and should be treated with care. I mended some loose stitching (see pictures) and had to patch over some areas. There is some discoloration and a handful of squares where the batting is visible, I consider this a part of the character of the quilt.

Care

Wash sparingly, and spot clean when possible. Soak in cold water with mild detergent for a couple hours and rinse. Roll in a towel to remove excess water and hang to dry.
