Lovely collection of 1930s fabrics in this hand stitched quilt. It seems to have been made with a light wool blanket as the batting and quilted with a bold red embroidery floss.

Reworked into a short boxy zip up with corduroy collar, welt pockets and a metal zipper 

Condition

Please note this quilt is old and should be treated with care. Some fabric blocks are worn down so the wool batting can be seen some stains and discoloration and loose quilting floss, this should be considered a part of the character of this piece. I patched over the more visible stains and holes.
